May 2012 – SageGlass was selected by GTN readers in the Windows & Door category. Green Thinker Network features green building products, green architects, LEED® consultants and other service providers who employ innovative building practices.

November 2011 – SAGE won the silver medal at a top European building industry expo in Paris, France. The BATIMAT Innovation Awards recognized SageGlass for its ability to control sunlight and heat dynamically while retaining its transparency, providing a solar control solution for buildings superior to standard shading systems.

November 2011 – A distinguished panel of 44 architects and specification specialists skilled in product evaluation judged each product. The Product Innovation Award (PIA) program honors manufacturers based on product attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance that are beyond industry standards.

June 2011 – Winners were selected by a panel of expert judges from more than 100 entries based on environmental performance, scalability/market impact, innovativeness, design aesthetic, value and compatibility with the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.

April 2011 – The Bloomberg New Energy Finance Pioneers program identifies companies from across the world that are making significant gains in the field of clean technology and innovation. A panel of industry experts, led by Bloomberg New Energy Finance technology specialists, chose the honorees by assessing them against three criteria: potential scale, innovation and momentum.

March 2006 – The Wall Street Journal’s independent panel of judges look for innovative uses of technology that break with conventional ideas to help solve real-world problems. The judges selected SAGE from hundreds of applications around the globe because of our reinvention of glass.

January 2006 – Inc. Magazine editors pick the hottest and most innovative tech companies prepping launches for the new year.

2006 – The Innovative Housing Technology Awards, presented by the National Association of Home Builders, NAHB Research Center, and EH Publishing, are the most prestigious housing technology awards for the home building industry. They recognize significant advances and best practices by product manufacturers, integrators and builders in technology development for the housing industry.

2005 – Crystal Achievement Awards recognize unique innovations in product technology, manufacturing and marketing. Winners were selected by a group of industry executives representing a broad segment of the window and door industry. The judges brought a great deal of experience and expertise to the selection process. Simonton should be truly honored to be cited by this distinguished group of industry peers.

2004 – The Awards, widely recognized as the “Oscars of Innovation,” identify and celebrate the top high technology products of the year including sophisticated testing equipment, innovative new materials, chemistry breakthroughs, biomedical products, consumer items and high-energy physics. The R&D 100 Awards span industry, academia, and government-sponsored research.
