Andrew and his team are responsible for helping architects and building owners realize their designs and provide solutions to solar control problems. In a prior life, he was vice president of business development for the space, missiles and munitions business at Honeywell. He also served for 10 years as a naval flight officer in both operational and instructional roles. Andrew has a B.S. in robotic engineering from Purdue University and an MS in engineering systems management from St. Mary’s University. Andrew is an avid gamer and sportsman and enjoys target shooting, archery, fishing and skiing.

Derek Malmquist

Derek has 20 years’ experience leading marketing teams at both large global companies and start-up organizations, both consumer products and B2B. Among these roles he served as VP of corporate marketing at Ecolab in St. Paul, Minn.; VP of marketing at LookSmart.com, San Francisco; and director of marketing at Clorox in Oakland, Calif. Derek attended college at Harvard and also has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Like a true Minnesotan, Derek enjoys winter and is a big hockey fan, but is not an ice-fishing or snow-shoveling enthusiast.

Dr. Helen Sanders

Helen is active within the fenestration industry in key advocacy areas, particularly those related to promoting the increased use of daylighting and the importance of glass to sustainable building design. She is our liaison to the glass and window industries and serves on many association boards and committees. She also develops strategic relationships with long-term customers and channel partners all over the world. Helen joined SAGE in 1998 and since then has been involved with nearly all aspects of the business. She has a Ph.D. in surface science from the University of Cambridge, England. When she isn’t globe-trotting, Helen enjoys road biking, riding horses and belly dancing.
