Buildings are the largest source of energy consumption in the world, and energy lost through inefficient, traditional window glass accounts for 30% of building heating and cooling energy in the U.S. Lawrence Berkeley National Lab estimates up to 20% in cooling energy savings, up to 60% lighting reduction and up to 30% reduction in peak demand with the use of SageGlass windows.
