SageGlass offers a variety of flexible control options to meet any need. You can use a simple wall switch or remote control to change the SageGlass tint, or integrate SageGlass into a variety of building automation systems such as lighting, energy management, audio/visual and security systems.
The SageGlass control system includes advanced tools to manage daylighting and glare based on occupancy, light levels, or building automation system settings. You can set SageGlass to operate automatically with manual over-rides, or operate it manually. The control system is extremely flexible as well since all SageGlass IGUs can be operated independently.
SageGlass IGUs can be separated into zones for applications in which you want to control groups of glass simultaneously, such as by row, wall or an entire area. This flexibility allows you to create unique daylighting designs to meet the needs of your space.
To automate variable tint, a small light sensor mounted into the SageGlass frame manages daylight control independent of what the lights may be doing, whether automatically or manually.
The SageGlass control system accommodates a centralized architecture where all control panels are housed in one room. Or you can distribute a network of smaller control panels throughout the building close to the attached glazings, or employ a hybrid of both approaches. The wiring is segmented, making the SageGlass control systems easier to install and commission — no need to coordinate schedules of glazing and electrical contractors.
SageGlass also features a Solo control system for small installations which have only a few zones and IGUs that need to be controlled. Solo controls are supplied with simple integrated wall switch and output module.
